Using our IR Sauna

Using the Sauna

Once inside, use the control panel to turn the sauna on. You may need to press the On button firmly with your thumb. The sauna will begin heating right away.

To adjust the temperature, press Mode once, then use the up or down arrows to select your desired setting.
Press Mode again to adjust the session time, or allow the sauna to default to the last session length used.

Lighting & Chromotherapy
The sauna includes color-changing lights that you may adjust using the light controls. Each color simply creates a different atmosphere, from calming to energizing. You’re welcome to select a color you enjoy or turn the lights off completely.

Music
Bluetooth controls are available inside the sauna if you’d like to connect your device and play music at a comfortable volume.

Shared Use
The courtyard infrared sauna is designed for up to two people and is not private. If you are using the sauna alone, another client may join and share the space. Please be mindful, respectful, and welcoming.

During your session, sit or recline comfortably and relax. You may adjust settings or exit at any time.

When finished, please wipe down or absorb any sweat or moisture. Turn the sauna off using the control panel (if you forget, no worries its on a timer), exit the sauna, and close the door gently behind you.

Please be sure to rinse before entering the cold plunge.

After Your Session

After exiting the sauna, take a moment to cool down naturally and hydrate. Many clients enjoy sitting quietly for a few minutes before moving on.

If you’d like, you may continue your session with a cold plunge. This is optional — listen to your body and move at your own pace. Please be sure to rinse before entering the plunge.

You’re also welcome to shower, relax, or transition to another Elements or Island Movement offering.

Safety Notes

Exit the sauna immediately if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or uncomfortable.
Avoid sauna use if you are pregnant, or feeling sick or unwell.
Higher temperatures should be paired with shorter sessions and proper hydration.
